While the former TOWIE star sees it as the best day of his life, the milestone did not go as planned.
This was due to the fact that her stepfather had lost his pants an hour before taking his actress daughter to the island.
The reality TV star spoke about the unlucky incident on his evening program Heart Radio last night.
While talking about his support for the Global’s Make Some Noise emergency call– Mark relived the hilarious story of his stepfather being left “without a suit” at the worst possible time.
The beautiful song remembers: “On the wedding day, my stepfather panics about his speech.
“All I wanted was that everything was going well for him. To make matters worse, Michelle’s stepfather is there too, we don our suits, we look smooth as we go, black tie, tuxedo.
“But I look around and my stepfather Mike is sitting there just in a shirt, a bow tie and rainbow boxers. They were horrible by the way, Mike, if you have them, throw them out now. ”
Mark’s stepfather was the only one not to receive a costume, but luckily a friend saved the situation.
He explained, “Anyway, the story goes like this, the only costume not to happen was his.
“An hour before he walked his precious daughter down the aisle and he was there, in his underwear, shirt and bow tie.
“The looks I got from across the room were horrible. But out of nowhere, this famous tailor, Stephen Williams, comes out of nowhere, with this scintillating costume and guess what, it suited him better than anyone. “
Fortunately for Mark, it all ended on a positive note as Michelle’s beloved father now loves him “in pieces” after the dire occasion.
“And know that since then I have been in my stepfather’s good books and he loves me very much,” he joked.
