the actors get along on and off the set. They support each other and sometimes
offer advice. Here’s what Barrett
Foa once said about LL advice
Cool J gave it before a difficult performance.
The actors of “NCIS: Los Angeles” get along well
Like the other shows of NCIS franchise, the NCIS
THE the actors seem to get along and enjoy working together. during
a 2017 round table for the
Paley Center for Media, Eric Christian
Olsen (Marty Deeks) compared being on set with his classmates to
high school then college.
“We’ve been on the series for 190 episodes,” says Olsen. ” So,
when you think about it, it’s been eight years. It’s like going to high school
then in college, with the same people every day for 10 months without
graduation. The fact that we have this chemistry after so long, I think
is remarkable. ”
In a separate interview, Daniela
Ruah describes LL Cool J, Chris O’Donnell and Eric Christian Olsen as his
“Big brothers. She says she “loves them deeply” and sees them as family. “They
are literally my big brothers, ”says Ruah. “I love them and I will protect them
in every way possible, but at the same time they drive me crazy like a real
brother would. “
LL Cool J’s advice to Barrett Foa before a difficult performance
In an interview with the hosts of The speech, Foa shares the advice LL Cool J gave him before a difficult performance he had to give in a club. He said he used to sing in front of an audience, but there was a problem. One of the songs that Foa had to sing was very long. He decided to ask LL Cool J. for help. The rapper / actor suggested a simple solution: a teleprompter. Here’s what Foa says about LL Cool J’s performance and tips:
I had to play something in a small club over the weekend. I was doing this side concert. I played a computer nerd during the week, then I was a rock star at the weekend. So it was pretty fun. It was this little club, a hundred places, a kind of bar. And basically, in two days, I had to learn five songs. Now I’m a Broadway artist, it’s my old life in New York. The songs, very good. But one of those songs was “Bust a Move”.
It’s such a long song, and I had two days to learn all of these lyrics. So i hit [LL Cool J’s] trailer and I think, “I’m having trouble with these lyrics. I have all these words to learn, and it’s like [in LL Cool J’s voice], “Do you have a teleprompter?” “It is a 100-seat club, there is no teleprompter. But basically, I bit the ball and learned it.
Foa then gave a great show. Here is a video of him playing “Bust a Move”.
