She said: “A few years ago, my father and I were on a shopping street in London.
“At the time, my management company was in Fulham, so we were out for a walk after a meeting.
“I didn’t know at the time that all the other customers were white. My father and I were the only blacks.
The singer said that the woman then started to “hover” around them and said, “Finally she came to my father and me and said,” You have to put these things down, you are not allowed to touch them ”.
