COVID-19 and reopening

  • The total number of hospitalizations fell to 1,657, the lowest daily level since March 20.
  • New York reported 23 more coronavirus deaths on Saturday.
  • Registration for the state health insurance market is extended by an additional 30 days until July 15.
  • Sports for low-risk youth will be authorized in regions entering phase 3 of reopening from July 6. Spectators are limited to two people per participating child. Qualifying sports include: baseball; soft ball; gymnastic; Field hockey; cross country; and the crew.
