LASD Deputies Mortally Shoot Man Identified As Half-Brother Of Robert Fuller, Injuring Wife Of Kern County – CBS Los Angeles


ROSAMOND (CBSLA) – Authorities are investigating after lawmakers with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department shot dead a man and injured a woman in Rosamond on Wednesday afternoon.The filming took place at about 4:39 hrs 3400 block 15 West Street in the County Kern community of Rosamond, just north of Lancaster, the department said.

According to LASD, detectives with the Unit’s Biggest Crimes were followed by a man suspected of kidnapping, domestic violence and assault with a lethal weapon.

When the MPs attempted to stop the traffic, the man allegedly opened the door and started shooting. Deputies returned the fire, killing the man and shooting a woman, who was also in the vehicle, in the chest.

The woman, who authorities say was not the spouse involved in the alleged assault, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

LASD also said a 7-year-old girl was in the car, but was injured in the shooting.

A family spokesman for Robert Fuller, the 24-year-old Black man who was found hanging from a tree in Palmdale last week, reported that the person killed was more complete, half-brother if LASD would not be not confirm the human relationship.

Jamon Hicks, Fuller’s attorney’s family released a statement Wednesday night that said he notified Fuller sisters that their half-brother was killed by LASD deputies.

“At this time, until we all receive information, the family and their legal team have yet to comment on this incident,” the statement said.

Hicks also said that the family was asking for privacy.
