Kate is leading a virtual assembly for the Oak National Academy tomorrow at 10 a.m. – but royal fans could see a short preview shared today by the association itself. In this document, the Duchess of Cambridge presents the themes of kindness and support before participating in a call with children at the Waterloo Primary Academy in Blackpool.
The video then switches to the video call, which will be released in full tomorrow.
During the video chat, Kate asks the children, “Who wants to tell me what kindness means to them?” “
A child responds, “Treat people the way you want to be treated? Share? It’s kindness. ”
This video has been criticized by fans of the Duchess of Sussex, many claiming that Kate showed no kindness to her sister-in-law while the Sussexes lived in the United Kingdom.
One social media user wrote, “Considering how Meghan has been treated by her, I’m not really sure that she is the best spokesperson for the concept of kindness to others. ”

Another said, “Ooh really? She should have started this kindness at home by showing Meghan some kindness.
“Or is his kindness limited to specific people?” ”
Another Twitter user wrote, “Ha! It must be a joke! ”

Another added, “Practice what you preach. ”
Other users have accused Kate of “copying” Meghan after the Duchess of Sussex made a poignant speech promoting 2020 at her former school, the Immaculate Heart.
One of them said, “Spot the Katiness copy. Meghan talks to a graduating class. Katie also holds a meeting. ”
Another said, “I was also wondering when Kate was going to copy and paste Meghan, I guess that’s the speech from Kate’s school. “
These tweets appear to be based on allegations of a split between the duchesses, widely reported in the past two years.
However, spokesmen for Meghan and Kate never commented on the alleged feud.
Several royal experts believe the divide between the Cambridges and Sussex erupted after Prince William spoke to his brother about his concerns about the speed at which he was continuing his relationship with Meghan.
Kate’s support for the Oak National Academy, a platform that provides high-quality video lessons and free resources for parents and teachers will see the Duchess encourage children to perform small acts of kindness.
In the pre-recorded message, the Duchess will say: ” Talking to someone, whether it’s a friend, family member, or teacher, is something you can do to make yourself feel a little better.
“And you can also play your part by helping others feel better too, by offering a friendly ear or helping someone in need.
“Small acts of kindness can go so far.
“But in helping others, we must not forget to feed ourselves, taking the time to focus on the things that make us happy too. ”
