Jason Day will play a single on Travelers Moving Day after requesting the COVID-19 test


Jason Day will play his third round of the Solo Voyageurs Championship after asking to be tested for COVID-19 on Saturday morning.

About half an hour after Day’s departure, the PGA Tour confirmed in a tweet that Day’s test results were negative before starting its tour.

Le Tour also confirmed that all follow-up tests due to potential contact with Denny McCarthy came back negative.

He was scheduled to play in a trio with Rafa Cabrera Bello and Roger Sloan at 8:09 am off 10th place after the opening with rounds of 67-69. Instead, he started in the last group from # 10 at 9:15 a.m.

Seven players have so far withdrawn from this week’s event: Brooks Koepka, Chase Koepka, Webb Simpson, Graeme McDowell, Denny McCarthy, Bud Cauley and Cameron Champ.
