NEW DELHI: India and France exchanged views on regional and global issues of common interest on Monday, discussed the COVID-19 pandemic and reviewed progress in their multifaceted cooperation, the ministry said. Foreign Affairs here.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Harsh Vardhan Shringla and Secretary General of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, François Delattre, held the consultation via video link, the ministry said in a statement.
India has welcomed France’s membership in the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure and France has welcomed India’s participation in the United Nations Security Council in 2021-2022, she added.
India and France are strategic partners.
