DAVENPORT, Iowa – Starting Sunday, May 31, several rumors of protests and looting prompted some stores in the area to close early and load entrances.
As the evening wore on, police presences began to appear around Davenport. A spokesman for the Davenport Police Department said that there were several teams in the city to answer various calls.

12:30 p.m. – Davenport police were on the scene of a commercial parking lot near 53rd Street, west of Utica Ridge Road.
12:20 am – Davenport police posted on their Facebook page, urging people to “stay at home and take shelter until further notice.”

11.50 p.m. – Police are on site near West Kimberly Road and Hillandale Road.
11:15 p.m. – Northwest Bank vandalism was caught on Facebook Live.
