The Paris Saint-Germain were crowned Ligue 1 champions when the season has been cancelled

The stages will be re-opened for the fans in France from the 11th of July, as the country continues to raise coronavirus restrictions.

Up to 5,000 fans will be allowed in the arena to watch live sports coverage – a figure that could increase later in the summer.

This means football in the Coupe de france and Coupe de la Ligue final could be played in front of supporters after the two were postponed to a date yet to be determined due to the pandemic.

Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons have been cancelled in April.

The French government declared: “A new review of the epidemiological situation national will be completed in mid-July to decide whether a relaxation is possible for the second half of the month of August. ”

In April, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe put a blanket ban on all sport until September, but the collective sports to resume from Monday.
