Disney said to maintain social distance, some attractions at “The Most Magical Place on Earth” will be temporarily suspended in the first reopening, including spectacular night parades, characters, greetings and playgrounds. Visiting more than one of four parks a day, known as a “jump park,” is not allowed, Disney said.
On Friday, the company said that a new Disney Park Pass system to better manage attendance and provide customers with an annual ticket or pass means to plan ahead of their arrival. “Visitors may be required to make an advance reservation for each entrance to the park,” Disney said.

On the weekends, Disney detailed the various attractions families can enjoy when the parks reopen next month. For example, the Seven Dwarfs by Mine Train, Mountain Space and Pirates of the Caribbean reopen at Magic Kingdom Park, while the Kilimanjaro Safaris, Everest Expedition – The Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and the Flying Flight Avatar will be reopened at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park.
Musical groups will also be back for the Walt Disney Resort, including the Main Street of the Philharmonic at Magic Kingdom Park.
Disney said its food and wine festival at Epcot will take place when this park reopens in mid-July. Last week, the company announced its 2020 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has been canceled.
The Walt Disney Resort was among many of the Orlando amusement parks that closed in mid-March, when thestarted spreading across the US Universal Orlando and SeaWorld reopened earlier in June.
