Roy Keane is alarming at comments suggesting Aston Villa and Jack Grealish were all too careless against Sheffield United divided opinion.Manchester United legend and former assistant villa questioned the attitude and application of Dean Smith’s side following the midweek (0-0) at Villa Park.

He said, “You have to try to create something and, for the Villa the other night, I just felt like they thought of a draw is not the end of the world. Whenever I looked at Grealish, he laughed. To listen, to realize what is at stake here?

“Because the supporters weren’t there, maybe he got sucked into the result almost doesn’t matter. Of course it is important, your career depends on it. ”

Some sections of the Supporting Villa reacted furiously, while others agreed with Keane to suggest the performance against the Blades was too good, especially with the club’s worrisome relegation situation.

Here’s an overview of some of the best of the reaction …

No Villa Context My god, Grealish, would get criticized for breathing.

Ant Not everyone hates life, Roy.

Andrew Ashburn I like Roy Keane, but he’s talking nonsense here, in my opinion. The positivity of our captain is a good thing – he also gives moral encouragement to the players around him.

CJ Absolute nonsense. Guess Grealish shouldn’t be enjoying his time on the field afterwards.

James He has absolutely nothing of this game, but for some reason does not allow to be criticized.

Matt Mallin Isn’t it perhaps thinking that Grealish just likes to play football and he was happy to do that.

Couldbearanything Premier league survival is a little more important than Grealish having fun. Plus, like a Boy Villa, he shouldn’t be happy if we are winning or relegating places.

Alex Berwick He died right tbf.

Trezzy Don’t we somehow agree? Perhaps pointing out the individual players is bad, but I thought we were a little relaxed during the game, especially in the 2nd half, considering how poor Utd were and who they were missing. I know this is the first game, but every game is very important.

Scotty Keane still right as the fantastic leader he was.

Richard Blackmore I agree with the feeling that they, as a collective, need to understand what is at stake in other games. Wednesday was not good enough. Strongly disagree with the comments on Grealish if … so what if he laughs.

JMB Agree with Roy. I don’t know why some of our fans are sensitive to this subject.

Kieran The two sets of players were joking and laughing in the crashing glass.

Longclaw 100% agree with him, and it’s made similar to the whole season. We miss this ugly stripe. Even seen Mings congratulate Henderson for taking a catch.

Villa Callum No one can disagree with these comments.

Paul Aubépine I agree with him, Premier league survival is huge and I would have liked to have seen us come out of the blocks with more determination and hope we try to catch him cold teams in the beginning of the games. If we go down all fees we get for Grealish just goes towards clearing the Premier League for money.

Tony Disagree with Roy, but we don’t seem a little too relaxed, tbh.

The OSC calm old man x

Jamie It is not bad..

Brand Jirobe Are we expecting something different from Roy here? He had players to put on the paint war, training 16 hours everyday with bootlaces coming from them if he had his way. And that’s why he’s now an expert and not a coach. Huge respect for him, but the world has changed.
