A witness who was at the Chipotle restaurant during the Darius Leonard incident tells TMZ Sports … The NFL star did nothing wrong and insisted that Leonard was racially profiled. The witness spoke to us on condition of anonymity – but we were able to confirm that the person was on the scene in South Carolina at the time of the Thursday incident. The witness said that Leonard peacefully enjoyed his meal with his party and never spoke to the other boss – who had complained to Leonard’s group leadership about being aggressive and unruly. We are told that the Indianapolis Colts superstar looked upset when the manager asked his group to leave – but he never lost his temper. In fact, we are told after leaving the restaurant, Leonard went back inside to explain to the manager why he thought the situation was unfair and racially motivated. Our witness said that Leonard was polite and respectful when interacting with the director. Then Leonard went to IG and called the guy – saying he was tired of being treated like a criminal just because he’s black. After Leonard was released to the public, we were told that the store had instructed an armed security guard to guard the front door as a precaution. As previously reported, the CEO of Chipotle personally contacted Leonard and promised a thorough investigation in the incident. The manager was suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.
