I’d like to take a moment to force retract every bit of this statement: pic.twitter.com/1ECwwu6TG1

Fisher, a theatre actor who made his big screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before segueing to the Justice League, did not provide any other context for the return of his past, to the praise of Whedon. It is difficult to know if Fisher, the slam is a personal beef with Whedon, or simply not liking the theatrical version of the Justice League that Whedon has kept, which has been commissioned to lighten the darker tone of Snyder’s film version. It is also interesting to note that Jason Momoa stone-faced expression and seemingly shy nod of the head, reaction of Fisher’s praise.
Fisher has long been a supporter of #ReleaseTheSnyderCut on social media. Given that Snyder has given Fisher, whose only credit since 2017 the Justice League has a recurring role in Season 3 on HBO’s True Detective, his start as a film actor may be, it is a question of loyalty to him.
However, the actor Joe Morton, who played Cyborg’s dad Silas Stone, told IGN in 2017 that Whedon is reshoots were, in part, to change the tone of the Cyborg character, a creative evolution which could go to the heart of Fisher is the retraction of his past praise for Whedon.
“Well, the stuff that I had to make were very small pieces, nothing necessarily to do with tone. I know that with Ray [Fisher]the young man who plays Victor, there were a few adjustments that they have done in terms of the tone of this character, ” according to Morton.
“I think that’s what I heard that there was a need from the studio to lighten up the film so that the film would be a little too dark. I don’t know what this meant in terms of how it actually translated into in terms of reshoots, but this is what I heard. This is what I thought that some of the reshoots were on. “

This is not the first time that Fisher has criticized the creative personnel who worked on the past DC movies.
In June, Fisher has responded to a tweet of Suicide Squad director David Ayer, who answered a fan question about his film the scenario. In the tweet (see below), Ayer claims that Geoff Johns — DC Comics writer who was also the main point of Warner Bros’ review of DC Films — adding an element to a Suicide Squad, which was also deemed to be reworked before the release, that he felt “broke my timeline” of Joker. To which Fisher responded, seemingly throwing shade at the Johns, ” I feel your pain. “
