There have been 12 new cases of COVID-19 reported in British Columbia. and no dead.

Provincial health worker Dr. Bonnie Henry said there were 185 active cases of the disease at noon Wednesday, including 12 in the hospital, including four in intensive care.

There have been no deaths in the past five days, and the B.C. death toll remains at 167.

Henry said there was a new outbreak at the Holy Family Hospital, a long-term care facility in Vancouver. A total of five long-term care and assisted living facilities continue to have active outbreaks.

There have been no new outbreaks in the community.

“Each health region in British Columbia has patients with COVID-19. Since the pandemic began, there have been 911 in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, 1,378 in the Fraser Health region, 130 in the Island Health region, 195 in the Interior Health region and 66 in the Northern Health, “said Henry.
