Coronavirus: Trump is not responsible if you get COVID-19 at his rally | US News

Donald Trump will host an election rally next Friday – and attendees will have to agree not to hold the president accountable if they contract COVID-19.

The president’s campaign team has confirmed that it will host a Make America Great Again rally on June 19 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On the ticket registration page of its website, a warning indicates that those who register “recognize that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present”.

He adds: “By participating in the rally, you and all guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J Trump as President, Inc; BOK Center; ASM Global; or one of their affiliates, administrators, officers, employees, agents, contractors or volunteers responsible for any illness or injury. ”

The United States has the highest number of coronavirus deaths in the world, with 113,652 as of Thursday and 2,016,630 confirmed cases, according to data from Johns Hopkins.
