Coronation street fan spots replaced actor in background

Coronation StreetThe new Aadi Alahan, the actor Adam Hussain, has settled well since his first appearance on our screens since April.

But eagle-eyed fans noticed in Wednesday’s episode (June 10) that former Aadi actor, Zennon Ditchett, made an appearance. Sort of.

In a scene from the episode set in Dev’s house, there was a picture of Aadi and Asha on Dev’s shoulder, with Zennon as Aadi. There were also a few other family portraits dotted throughout the scene that had not been updated.

The fan who spotted the photo called it a “school boy mistake,” but we like to think it’s like them keep the photo as a sign of respect for an actor who has been on the show for a decade.

We also get the impression that if they tried Adam’s Photoshop in the picture, it might end up looking really dodgy, so it’s probably better that they haven’t tried it.

Aadi recently provided support to her sister after explicit photos she sent to a boy she loved were shared without her permission. Dev has tried to do his best to support them too, but is starting to struggle financially.
