Chuck Liddell eased tensions at Huntington Beach as protesters took to the streets to march against the illegal murder of George Floyd.
“It’s good to see people defending their city,” Chuck Liddell told reporters. “It’s terrible. Violence begets violence. Violence does not help anyone. We all know that what happened was wrong. Everyone I know thinks it was wrong. It’s hard to watch. It doesn’t help. Destroying cities, destroying people, hurting people is not good for anyone. Hey, protest whatever you want; just do it peacefully.
In a video shared by a news station, Liddell is seen playing the role of peacemaker while a person even pushes physically against the champion fighter.
