Chelsea has announced the agreement of 53 million pounds for the striker to RB Leipzig, Timo Werner.

The German international, who has two games to play with RB Leipzig, has signed a five-year contract with a value of 175 000 pounds per week.

Speaking after the announcement by the club of an agreement, Werner had considered the pride to seal a move to the Premier League.
Werner, 24 years, said: “I am delighted to sign for Chelsea, it is a moment of great proud for me to join this great club.
“I want of course to thank RB Leipzig, the club and the fans for four great years. You’ll always be in my heart.
“I look forward to the next season with my new teammates, my new manager and of course the Chelsea fans. Together, we have a future very successful in front of us. “

The director of Chelsea, Marina Granovskaia, has added: “We are very pleased that Timo Werner has chosen to join Chelsea.
“This is a player who was coveted throughout Europe and this is not a surprise, he has this rare mix of being young and exciting and yet established and proven.
“We look forward to having Timo on board, but until then, we wish her, him and RB Leipzig all the best for the rest of the season. “
Werner will join the club on July 1, after having chosen not to see through the campaign of RB Leipzig in the champions League when the first club competition of Europe will resume in August.
He left Leipzig after four years of success with the club and he leaves as the best scorer of all time in the Bundesliga.
In 157 games, Werner has produced 93 goals and added 40 assists to give him the # 1 ranking in the history of the club. He has 29 international caps for Germany and is widely regarded among the youth the most exciting strikers on the continent.
