How many Canadians have the new coronavirus? Total number of confirmed cases by region
Wednesday’s announcement is a slight increase in what appears to be a downward trend in daily coronavirus cases across the country since last week.
On Monday, new cases reached 527 and were followed by 408 on Tuesday, the latter being the smallest increase in cases reported daily since March 22.

The bulk of Wednesday’s cases were again from Ontario and Quebec.
Quebec, which is considered the Canadian epicenter of the coronavirus epidemic, has reported 156 new cases and 52 new deaths. Cases and deaths in the province represent more than 50% of the Canadian total.

Ontario announced 251 cases on June 10, including 11 additional deaths.

Several other provinces have also reported additional COVID-19 infections.
British Columbia announced an increase of 12 cases on Wednesday, while Alberta’s total rose to 7,276 after 47 more cases were reported.
Confirmed cases in Saskatchewan increased to 658 after two more cases were reported in the province.
