the Conservative MP for Great Grimsby Lia Nici told Express.co.uk that major European Union countries such as Germany and France must understand that other nations in the trading bloc want to be more involved. Ms Nici added that many European countries will examine how Brexit works for the UK.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if we weren’t the only country to make the choice we made in the future. ”
In the same interview with Express.co.uk, Mrs. Lici told Michel Barnier to “wring your neck” and to continue reasonable negotiations on a post-Brexit trade agreement.
the Conservative MP said Mr. Barnier is full of bluster and threats about British fishing waters.
Nici also warned the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator that the UK was holding the cards in trade negotiations.
In June 2016, the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union.
The United Kingdom officially left the European Union at the end of January this year.
Britain is currently in a transition period until the end of 2020 with the EU while the government is negotiating a free trade agreement with the bloc.
The transition will be completed in late 2020. Boris Johnson has ruled out extending the transition period, despite the current coronavirus crisis.
