“This is the most important moment in my career,” Anitta said in a statement. “Now I can post more about my art and culture both nationally and internationally. I can’t wait for everyone to hear everything about the new music that I’ve been working on, which will be a new mix of Spanish and English. ”
“We are very pleased to be collaborating with the global Warner Latin Music team for Anitta’s incredible music in the US and beyond,” said Warner Records co-chairs Aaron Baie-Schuck and Tom Corson. “Anitta is truly unlike any artist we have ever known. She is not only an extraordinary musical talent, but an ardent creative force, an electrifying artist and a true cultural phenomenon. Along with manager Anitta, Brandon Silverstein, we look forward to scaling the heights even higher together. ”
In the meantime, Anitta will continue to release Portuguese music through Warner Music Brazil. Featuring a tropical mix of sounds, from reggaeton from bossa nova to hip-hop, Anitta from 2019 album, Kisses, received a Latin Grammy nomination for the Best Urban Album. The singer has previously collaborated with J Balvin, Madonna and Snoop Dogg. Currently, she claims the title of the artist’s most listened to in Brazil.
