The 20-year-old is expected to attract a lot of interest in the summer window transfers, having scored 15 goals and 8 assists while playing as an attacking midfielder this season.
Bayern Munich remain the favorite to sign Havertz if he becomes available, while MEN Sport revealed this week that the youngster considers a move to the Premier League as a “very realistic” possibility.
United could still take a step closer to signing the midfielder at the end of the season, and Flick explained why any top level player would be lucky to have Havertz on his team.
“I think very few coaches would not want to have Kai Havertz on their team,” said the Bayern manager.
“It has grown enormously in Leverkusen.
“He moves very well between the lines, is quite fast, confident of the ball and knows how to find space.
“He has a very young scoring instinct. ”
Havertz misses Leverkusen’s game against Bayern Munich on Saturday afternoon due to an injury he suffered in his last game.
