Arsenal fans enthuse about Geoffrey Kondogbia, despite the defeat against Real Madrid

Real Madrid won a comfortable 3-0 win over Valencia on Thursday evening to keep the pressure on Barcelona after a wonderful display in the second half – but the fans of Arsenal were always impressed with a midfield of Valencia.

A superb brace from Karim Benzema came either side of the net from Marcos Asensio, with his first touch after coming out of the bench. Benzema opened the score after a pass incisor of Luka Modric who has seen him net, face-to-face.

Asensio is off of the bench and a superb acceleration in the pace saw Ferland Mendy achieve the signature to return the ball to Asensio, who has stolen from the house. Benzema made it three with a first key and a fly sublime.

However, Valencia was decent on the counter-attack and had chances – perhaps not deserving of a defeat so heavy. The midfielder, Geoffrey Kondogbia has been excellent, especially in the first half.

The power of the 27-year-old has revived his career after some difficult times. His range of passes, strength, and long distance shooting was exposed, including a driver of piles of 30 meters, which saw Thibaut Courtois save.

He was not able to prevent the Real Madrid to reach three points, but many fans of Arsenal have been impressed by the former star of Inter Milan and Monaco – discussing whether it would be a good addition to the team of Mikel Arteta.

Kondogbia has been linked with Arsenal in the past, the Express claiming that Arsene Wenger wanted in 2015. He joined Valencia in 2018 for 22 million pounds sterling (aim) and has since played 90 times – after initially joining on loan in 2017.
