Arizona Coyotes staff member positive for COVID-19


A staff member of the Arizona Coyotes organization tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Saturday.The team added that the member is asymptomatic, feels good, and is in isolation at home. Adding that people who had close contact with the staff member were notified.

All other Coyotes personnel and players participating in the Phase 2 testing protocol tested negative for VOCIDE-19.

“The Coyotes will continue to follow all NHL-mandated testing and risk mitigation protocols.”

The NHL season has been suspended since March 12 due to the VOCIDE-19 pandemic, but the Coyotes will participate in the plan to return to the league’s 24-team game if the campaign can resume this summer.
