“So, this evening, a member of the Police service, Windsor was denied access to Arby’s. I am absolutely disgusted and will never set foot in one again. I encourage you all to do the same,” the post said.

Some have taken to social media to declare the incident to be false, but others have shared their insistence on the fact that it happened.

“This is not the way we treat our first responders. Keep the hatred of the Police in the UNITED states,” wrote a Facebook post.

Another Facebook post said, “I’m going to call them tomorrow and say that I REFUSE to attend to their affairs, and this, once again.”

Email requests for comments for Arby’s Canada and the Windsor Police communications department were not immediately answered Saturday morning.

The Windsor Star has not independently confirmed the authenticity of the photo circulating on social media.
