AHL “Return to Game” task force set up | TheAHL.com


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today the formation of a Return to Play task forceestablished in order to provide expert leadership and strategic direction to the AHL in the planning of the league to return to the game in the 2020-21 season.The members of the Return to Play of the task force have shown a strong commitment to the AHL and are experienced and respected in the NHL, the general managers, the AHL team of the presidents and of the property of representatives. The group will be chaired by the outgoing AHL President and Chief Executive officer David Andrews.

The Return to Play task force will not have operational or managerial responsibility for the performance of the AHL and return to the game, but rather to provide strategic leadership for the league in the development or identification of opportunities for a return to the set of processes that can win broad support in both the AHL and the National Hockey League.
