A Surrey neighborhood where zero coronavirus deaths have been recorded


A National Statistical Office (ONS) interactive map revealed there is just one area in Surrey where zero coronavirus deaths have been recorded.There have been 1,163 COVID-19 deaths recorded at hospital operating trusts in the county, according to the latest ENM figures released Thursday (June 18). According to the latest from England’s Public Health Department, also released on Thursday, 2,994 people tested positive for coronavirus in Surrey.

The ONS map, compiled using data from the number of COVID-19 deaths between March 1 and May 31, and those recorded by June 6, reveals that Leatherhead North of the Mole Valley is the only region in the county to record zero coronavirus deaths.

In contrast, the district with the most registered deaths is Horley Centrale, with 26.
