A Briton who spent six days trapped in a well after being chased by a dog was rescued in Bali.

A rescue team pulled 29-year-old Jacob Roberts out of the 13-foot concrete pit yesterday after a farmer in Pecatu village sounded the alarm.

After yesterday’s dramatic rescue, South Kuta police chief Yusak Agustinus Sooai said, “He looked thin and injured.

“The victim said he was trapped there about six days before an evacuation was carried out on Saturday by the Basarnas team. “

Police took Mr. Roberts to BIMC Nusa Dua Hospital for treatment and he is expected to recover fully.
