WWE NXT Star released after allegedly filing a complaint against the medical team

It was revealed earlier this week that WWE released NXT Rachael Ellering, Rachel Evers in WWE NXT, in April as part of massive talent and staff cuts due to budget cuts.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Ellering had discussed issues with the medical team and medical procedures with WWE officials a few months ago.

At the time, Ellering underwent reconstructive knee surgery and was recovering from it. According to the report, his complaints about the medical team and their procedures were not well received, which ultimately led to his departure.

A few weeks ago, he was given two options, but what those options were were not mentioned. However, the two eventually released her. It was noted that she had chosen one of the options before being released.

The former NXT star has said in interviews that she wants to leave WWE alone before the release.

Evers, the daughter of legendary manager Paul Ellering, participated in the first two Mae Young Classic tournaments. She signed with NXT in January 2019.
