Wolverhampton Wanderers is the last club to be linked to Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer.

The Norwegian international has been largely linked to a move away from Parkhead this summer after a string of impressive performances.

Leicester City is a longtime admirer of Ajer, along with manager Brendan Rodgers, the man who brought him to Glasgow and turned him into a central defender.

With the Foxes – Manchester United, Man City, Everton and according to 90min, the Wolves all follow the 22-year-old player.

It is understood that the Bhoys will seek more than £ 20 million for Ajer, with Leicester currently leading the race.

In addition to the interest of the Premier League, Milan, PSG and Borussia Dortmund are all keen to move when the window reopens.

Leicester are set to bring Ajer to King Power in January, but Rodgers is determined to reach an agreement in the next window.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to be in the defensive reinforcements market, with an uncertain future for Ryan Bennett’s Molineux.

Bennett spent the second half of this season with Leicester, although his loan agreement was not expected, with him not making his debut before the suspension of the coronavirus.
