15 mins: Dortmund are starting to win. So far, they hold 71% of the assets.
13 min: A nice Guerreiro backflick almost releases Hazard in the middle. Not quite, but very pretty. Dortmund is clearly very confident.
12 min: For newcomers to the Bundesliga, here is some history in an extremely small jar. Wolfsburg was formed in 1945 and achieved the first end for the first time in 1997; they have stayed there ever since. In 2007-08, under Felix Magath, they won their only Bundesliga title with a team consisting of attackers Grafite and Eden Dzeko, and playmaker Zvjezdan Misimovic: the magic triangle. Dortmund, on the other hand, has eight German championships to its credit, and you may have heard of former boss Jurgen Klopp.
10 minutes: Guerreiro was superb last weekend, and he seems to be in a good mood today, sliding to the left and slipping an assist inside for Haaland, who is unable to sort his feet. The two teams are starting to put some moves together now.
8 mins: Mbabu jumps onto the right touchline, a fantastic run along the tightrope. So little space to work, but he still manages to whip a cross that Weghorst has almost reached. Hummels did exceptionally well to get a header first and guide the ball to the keeper.
6 min: Hazard and Hakimi almost succeed in a combination at the bottom right, but the sheer persistence of Roussillon puts an end to their intrigue.
4 mins: It’s fast. Maybe too fast. There is no real scheme yet, and both teams are struggling to retain possession of the ball.
2 min: A start led by Dortmund, with Hakimi and Brandt both thinking of long-range shooting. There is no time or place. Then the hosts go up to the other side, Arnold rushing into the space at the bottom left. He has Ginczek and Weghorst in the middle, but his cross is poor and easy meat for Burki.
Here we go! Dortmund, who is looking to make five on the rebound at the Volkswagen Arena, rolls the ball and hits it on the back for a time.
