US stock index futures did not change much late Tuesday, following a strong sale on Wall Street during the day. At midnight Eastern time, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures
were up 40 points, or 0.2%, while the S&P 500 futures
forward and Nasdaq-100
were slightly up. Tuesday the Dow
slipped 450 points, its worst percentage loss in a day since May 1. The S&P 500
both fell more than 2%. On Tuesday, the country’s top public health officials warned senators that new coronavirus outbreaks were almost certain if businesses in the country reopened too soon.
