“Unsafe” actor Kendrick Sampson was injured during a protest.
The actor is one of thousands across the country who have taken to the streets to protest police brutality.

Sampson, 32, shared several videos on Instagram Saturday of a protest in Los Angeles, where he was repeatedly shot and killed by officers with rubber bullets, and struck with batons.
In one of the videos, Sampson revealed that he had been shot four times while a later video of the day’s cover included a photo of Sampson being beaten by an officer with a baton.

After details of his injuries were revealed, the actor went to Twitter to discuss his experience, revealing that he had been shot three more times.
“Glad you witnessed this. Especially the video of them really targeting us, “wrote Sampson online. He didn’t try to ricochet the bullets from the ground – a tactic – he pointed the gun DIRECTLY AT ME. I was hit 7 times with rubber bullets and many with batons. My boy has stitches. “
He concluded the message with the hashtag: “#DEFUNDPOLICE”.
