UFC 250 is now official as the promotion returns to Las Vegas for its next scheduled session payment.
The Nevada State Sports Commission on Wednesday approved a new set of protocols to combat COVID-19, as combat sports are expected to return there for the first time since March. The meeting also approved two upcoming UFC cards, including UFC 250 on June 6 at the Apex facility in Las Vegas.
UFC President Dana White then revealed the entire map with the featherweight title fight between champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Felicia Spencer who heads the series.
A pair of major bantamweight fights will also be featured on the main map.
In the main co-event, former champion Cody Garbrandt will return to action against the eternal competitor Raphael Assuncao. Meanwhile, Aljamain Sterling will look for his fifth straight win as he faces Cory Sandhagen in a fight that could determine the next title challenger at 135 pounds.
The main card for the UFC 250 will be completed by Neil Magny facing Rocco Martin in welterweight action and Sean O’Malley back to face veteran bantamweight Eddie Wineland.
