The series “Hedy Lamarr” directed by Gal Gadot settles at Apple since Showtime – Deadline

Directed by Gal Gadot Hedy Lamarr, a limited series of eight episodes, of The case co-creator Sarah Treem, The tale of the servant producer Warren Littlefield and Endeavor Content moved from Showtime to Apple with direct serial ordering.

The project has been in development at Showtime since August 2019, but has never received a serial order. By Apple, the series will follow the incredible story of the glamorous Hollywood girl, played by Gadot, spanning 30 years after the audacity of Hedy’s escape from pre-war Vienna; to his meteoric rise to the golden age of Hollywood; to his downfall and possible disgrace at the dawn of the Cold War. An epic story of an immigrant at the same time ahead of her time and very victimized.

The notion of historical drama was born from Gadot and her husband and production partner Jaron Varsano (My dear Fidel), who then teamed up with Littlefield and Treem, the latter creating the series.

In addition to Gadot and Treem, Hedy Lamarr will be produced by Littlefield and Katie Robbins (The case). Gadot and Varsano will produce through their production company Pilot Wave. Adam Haggiag (Bombshell: The story of Hedy Lamarr) and Alexandra Dean (Bombshell: The story of Hedy Lamarr) will serve as co-producers, with children of Hedy Lamarr Anthony Loder and Denise Deluca consultant on the series. Endeavor Content serves as a studio.
