If you’ve been shopping this week, you’ll need to be aware of a series of product recalls from your local supermarket.

Among those who remember this week is the largest British grocer Tesco.

Tesco, which operates several stores in Birmingham, is removing its products from the shelves, alongside Sainsbury’s and Asda.

The three giant supermarket chains are also joined by Waitrose in the recall, offering full refunds to all affected city customers.

The product recalls relate to products from Wall’s, Mars and Coca-Cola, and also include budget supermarket chains like Lidl.

Unilever recalls a limited batch of Wall Mini Calippo multi-packs as they may contain “small pieces of metal,” announced the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

In an online statement, a spokesperson said: “Wall’s is taking the precautionary step of recalling a limited batch of Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs from Wall as internal quality controls have shown that they can contain very small metal fragments.

“The safety of the people who buy and use our products is always our number one priority, which is why we take the precaution of recalling this limited number of Wall’s Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs. “

The spokesperson added, “We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank everyone for their cooperation. “

Affected products include Wall’s Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime (6 x 480 ml) multi-packs with expiration dates of April 2022 or May 2022.

The affected lot codes are L0121, L0122, L0123, L0124, L0125 and L0126. These can be found on the short side of the box.

No other Wall product is affected by this recall, the FSA confirmed.
