Terrell Tilmon takes on the Ducks


The Oregon Ducks added a defense line commitment. Mansfield (Tex.) Defensive end Timberview Terrell tilmon announced its commitment to Oregon on Friday evening.
The prospect released his engagement on Friday, posting it on his twitter with the caption “Dreams To RealityGreen #ScoDucks # TakeFlight21”.
“I have always dreamed of playing college football since I was a child and I cannot believe I have the opportunity. First, I would like to thank God for giving me the strength and the opportunity to play the sport I love. Oregon offered this possibility in late January, and then hosted Tilman on campus just a month ago. The prospect was one of the many people who gathered in Eugene for Junior Day in early March and tweeted after the tour: “We had an amazing time at the University of Oregon, thank you very much for l to have welcomed. Tilman recently recently posted a change to the Oregon coaching staff on his twitter.
Just two weeks ago, the prospect included the Ducks in his top eight. Oregon beats Arizona, Baylor, Kansas State, Lousiana Tech, Minnesota, SMU and Texas Tech for the Texas defense.

As a junior, Tilman had 33 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss and 5 sacks. Also a track and field athlete competing in the 110-meter hurdles and triple jump, Tilman clocked 4.80 seconds over 40 yards and a vertical jump of 31.40 inches at the Dallas Opening Regional in 2019.
Tilmon becomes Oregon’s first defensive line engagement for the 2021 class. The Ducks now have six total class engagements. The Oregon recruiting class is now # 20 in the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings and # 2 in the Pac-12.
On the current Oregon roster, the Ducks should only lose one defensive goal after the 2020 season, Austin Faoliu. . All of Oregon’s current defensive endings are listed as true sophomores, freshmen in red shirts, or will be actual freshmen in 2020.
