So far, different trailers for Black Widow from Marvel Studios have featured the different capabilities of Taskmaster, which he unlocked by watching the Avengers on video. However, we also know that he will use weapons that are reminiscent of some of the most famous combat tools in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this exclusive video, we walk through the weapons of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that Taskmaster could use to pay tribute to the history of the MCU. Some of them are confirmed, while others are not.

We start with his shield, which is supposed to resemble that of Captain America. While not as indestructible as the Captain America shield in the comics, it is possible that the shield in the movie more faithfully reproduces the famous Sentinel of Liberty weapon. The weapon has always been part of Taskmaster’s design, but it is likely that it integrates it in an offensive and defensive manner, reminiscent of Captain America. We also know of trailers that it will use a bow and arrow, like Hawkeye, which will go far in longer range engagements. However, there is also an emotional component to this: Hawkeye and Black Widow are good friends. This means that he could have an emotional component by using the bow and arrow. However, it is likely that the bow and arrow will be turned against him, because Black Widow probably knows how to shoot a guy using this type of weapon.
