Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin challenged hard rock musician and Guns N ‘Roses member Axl Rose on Twitter Wednesday evening.

The Secretary of the Treasury, who oversees debt issuance and the tax welfare of the United States, quipped Rose: “What have you done for the country lately? “

Mnuchin, who is also one of President Donald Trump’s chief economic advisers, tweeted in response to Rose. Earlier in the evening, the musician had classified Mnuchin as “officially a hole”.

We do not know what could have provoked the original tweet of Rose who disparaged the Secretary of the Treasury.
