Sean Marks: Kevin Durant will be 100% when he returns to the program

Sean Marks said he did not know if Kevin Durant would play this season if games finally resumed, and that the Brooklyn Nets were never going to push Durant for an early return.

“He knows his body better than anyone. Our performance team and training staff have done a tremendous job in getting it to this point, but I just don’t know how the end of this pandemic will affect anyone, let alone Kevin. When you ‘We’ve invested enough in a player like Kevin, we’re never going to push him back. When the time is right, it will be 100% when it arrives on the field.

“I can tell you this, though – before the pandemic, he looked like Kevin Durant and that’s a good thing,” Marks said in an interview with Newshub.

Marks also touched on the current suspension, saying it offered the league an opportunity to improve.

“This is a hell of an opportunity. We are going to take advice from a lot of people, and we would do tremendous harm to ourselves and to the industry if we came back hoping it would be the same. “
