Scott Disick’s love for ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian has become a problem in his relationship with Sofia Richie.

Scott’s separation from Sofia, 21, was revealed this week after a three-year relationship. And there seems to have been tension between the couple due to Scott’s lingering feelings for his ex.

“Scott will always be in love with Kourtney, and that is something Sofia had to face before she even got serious with him,” a source told UsWeekly.

They go on to say that singer Lionel Richie’s daughter realized she’s not going to be Scott’s priority.

“It is an ongoing thing. It became more evident that her family was more prioritized than her, and her family would be her top priority over everything and anyone.

Scott has three children with Kourtney; Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and Reign, five. They date from nine years from 2006 to 2015.

Scott and Sofia, who met in 2017, are believed to have separated after Scott’s recent rehab, several media confirmed on Wednesday.

As stated for the first time by Dailymail.com, Scott went to rehab last month looking for treatment for “past trauma.”

“Sofia noticed that he was not well and gave her an ultimatum, and in the end it seemed like Scott was more focused on Kourtney and her children than she was. “Said a source.

Shortly after the breakup was announced, Scott shared a photo of himself on Instagram in Utah by the pool. “Little water has never hurt anyone,” said the star.

Page Six added that her bad manners and ex had made Sofia think.

“Scott had returned to his old ways,” said the source, “and Sofia has had enough.”

Scott recently celebrated his 37th birthday without Sofia, and was joined by Kourtney and their three children in Lake Powell, Utah.

But there is no evidence of a reconciliation between Scott and Kourtney, with a source telling UsWeekly that Scott has yet to prove himself after giving him many chances over the years.

“The fact that he is the father of their three children keeps them connected forever. Kourtney wants the best for Scott and knows they went through the wringer together. She lets him in – but at arm’s length.

DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Scott entered rehab on April 28 at All Points North Lodge in Edwards, Colorado.

The reality star is said to have faced problems with alcohol and cocaine use, but lawyer Marty Singer challenged the characterization at TMZ.

Shortly after, Kourtney seemed to be referring to drama in his life with an encrypted article on Instagram Stories: “A little tired of agreeing to things that don’t suit me.

Scott and Sofia started dating in the summer of 2017.

Interestingly, the two met on his birthday while Scott was flirting with Sofia on a yacht in southern France on May 24 for his 34th birthday getaway.

In September 2017, it was reported that they were dating and were photographed in Miami posing in front of a cake that said, “Congratulations Scott and Sophia [sic]. ‘

Scott has three children with Kourtney; Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and Reign, five. They are dated nine years from 2006 to 2015. The former couple is seen in May 2015 just before their breakup.
