Marriage and family therapist Adriana Alejandre shares tips for managing money anxiety and how to ask for help during quarantine.
Does being stuck at home just make you want to PUNCH SOMETHING?
Apparently, many movie heroines can be linked. A number of female action stars – including Scarlett Johansson, Halle Berry, Margot Robbie, Rosario Dawson, Drew Barrymore, Florence Pugh, Daryl Hannah, Zoe Saldana, Thandie Newton, Rosie Perez, Lucy Lawless and Cameron Diaz – show their abilities to fight an invisible enemy in quarantine, in a video curated by Zoe Bell, a stuntwoman better known as a double of Uma Thurman in “Kill Bill”.
In the five-minute video, Bell complains of boredom before starting what looks like a quarantine fight club, with actresses and stunt girls falling in front of the camera and then coming off. The final clip, edited to the tune of “The Healer” by KT Tunstall, gives the impression that women are fighting, through the camera. Fighting methods vary, with a golf cart, lighters and puzzle pieces incorporated into the video.
Some memorable moments: Diaz sticks with the gloved hand she used to pick up the groceries, Pugh strikes with a dog bone (after having thought better than using a full bottle of wine), Johansson uses a balloon exercise as a weapon, Robbie opts for his Harley Quinn bat, Hannah invokes his character of “Kill Bill” with a needle and punches Berry after a pool catches his fall.
Actress Julia Butters, “Once upon a time in Hollywood”, eleven, is also featured in the video. She is not exactly hit, as she is a child, but rather licked by a dog before bending through the camera lens, with her elbow pads.
