Seinfeld fans will certainly remember Herd as Mr. Wilhelm, who was George’s supervisor during the character’s stint as an assistant to the traveling secretary of the New York Yankees. In one of his most famous moments, Wilhelm took over George when he dragged the Yankees World Series trophy with his car in order to get fired. Wilhelm ended up stepping up and taking the blame, while insulting the fake George Steinbrenner in the process, all in order to take a stand with the New York Mets, which was the job George hoped to get, thus inspiring his plan. He was also brainwashed by a cult of carpet cleaning, which was also a laugh.
