Report: Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland to be replaced on Monday night football stand

ESPN will have a new broadcast team for Monday Night Football. According to Richard Deitsch of The Athletic, Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland will not return.

According to Deitsch, Tessitore and McFarland will stay at ESPN in important roles.

McFarland’s future status has been on hold since reports surfaced that the network was trying to land former NFL quarter-stars Tony Romo or Peyton Manning.

CBS announced that it had signed Romo for expansion with the network beyond 2020. Andrew Marchand of the New York Post said Romo had signed for $ 17 million per season for “significantly more than five years.”
