REPORT: Ahsoka Tano Show is in development at Disney +


A new report indicates that a Star Wars show focusing on Ahsoka Tano is in development for Disney +.

2020 was a great year for the Star Wars Ahsoka Tano. Between the character who returns to the scene with the release of The Clone Wars Seventh season and rumors of Rosario Dawson’s potential cast for The Mandalorian Season 2, Tano has been in the headlines quite often. Now she would have been the subject of a new Disney + show.

Daniel RPK simply stated on his Patreon, “An Ahsoka Tano show is being developed for Disney +. “

Ahsoka Tano first appeared in 2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars film that preceded the series of the same name. Introduced as Anakin’s new exuberant young Padawan, Ahsoka Tano quickly made a name for himself.

The character would become a leader in The Clone Wars cartoon that recently aired its latest episode. Tano was one of the only survivors of the Dark Sidious 66 Mortal Order. She also appeared in Star Wars: Rebels for brief cameos, including a confrontation with his former Jedi master, Anakin Skywalker (then passing through Darth Vader).

Ahsoka was also the subject of a fan-favorite Star Wars novel, Ahsoka. Written by E.K. Johnston, the novel explores the life of Ahsoka after leaving the Jedi Order and before his appearance in the above Rebels show.
