He recently moved from the £ 2 million family home and stayed in an apartment in London.

However, Phillip Schofield appeared to be reunited with his family on Friday evening while enjoying a mystery night of murder.

This Morning star, 58, posed for a fun photo in his Oxfordshire family home with his wife Stéphanie and daughters Ruby, 24, and Molly, 27.

Ruby’s boyfriend Will Proctor was also seen posing in the background.

The family were all dressed up as characters for an evening of murder mystery play – apparently the first time they were together during the lockdown.

He captioned the photo with: ‘Night of murder mystery… we are all character and take it very seriously.’

Phillip moved out of the 2 million pound family home in Oxford after revealing that he was gay earlier this year. He has since lived in an apartment in London.

In February, when Schofield discussed his decision to leave, he insisted, “We will always be a family” and it is clear that they remain close.

He also insisted that he still loves Steph as much as he did when they met “if not more.”

Television studio staff have been informed of the star’s change of address, including the drivers who transport him to and from the studio.

A source said, “It’s been weeks that Phillip no longer lives with Steph, that he moved for good and that he had a new home. It has a place in central London.

“It’s not as big, but it’s the start of a new life for him. It also seems that their marriage may well be over.

Schofield surprised fans on February 7 by posting a statement on social media that after 27 years of marriage he “accepts the fact that I am gay.”

In a choreographed follow-up, he took his place on the This Morning sofa in addition to co-host Holly Willoughby to further pour out his heart.

Writing on Instagram about his decision to go out, he said, “With the strength and support of my wife and daughters, I have accepted the fact that I am gay.

“My inner conflict contrasts with an outside world that has changed so much for the better. Today, rightly, being gay is reason to celebrate and to be proud.

Later, he admitted in a newspaper interview that it was too early to say if he and Steph would stay married.

“It has taken me a long time to get here, I am not rushing to get to another place,” he said. “We will always be a family … And where the wind blows us, I don’t know. But I still love Steph as much as when we first met. Most likely.
