Fernandes has been sensational since joining United in January and the Portuguese star has scored three goals and four assists in his first nine games.
Pogba was United’s main creative force last season when Solskjaer returned to take over at Old Trafford and the French World Cup winner recovered from his ankle surgery.
United fans cannot wait to see them unleashed together when football returns and Solskjaer is adamant that he can host the two stars in his midfield.
“Good players can always play together, so it’s a really big yes,” said the United boss. “But then I have three players, Scott, Fred, Nemanja.
“There are a lot of games coming up and I am sure we will find a good connection between them. As a coaching team, we look forward to it.
“It’s exciting. We have an exciting team. Bruno came in and made an impact and it was great for everyone. It was a boost for the club, for the supporters and the players. “
Pogba has only made eight appearances for United this season due to injuries and last played the day after Christmas.
Solskjaer says he is anxious to leave and says the stop gives him and Marcus Rashford, who has been absent since January with a back injury, time to recover.
“I really think Paul is anxious to leave,” he told The Sports Show at Sky Sports. “Paul had a difficult season with injuries. He said it himself.
“Marcus is also improving. For these two, it gives them a chance to start on a level playing field or even in front of the other players if, and when, we go ahead.
“They have been focused and mentally it may be easier for them to train hard now because they can see the light at the end of the tunnel. “
Rashford’s dismissal was frustrating for United and Solskjaer as the English striker had his best campaign ever with 19 goals for his club.
Solskjaer was delighted with the way he, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood rallied for United after the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
“I think Mason, Anthony and Marcus this season have been fantastic,” he said. “They have scored up to 50 goals, all three.
“Marcus was injured and he was on the right track for his best season. Anthony was on the right track for his best season and Mason is a unique talent due to his scoring ability. “
Solskjaer is excited about Greenwood’s talent and the 18-year-old graduate of the academy has 12 goals in his first campaign.
“Whenever a young boy plays well and scores, it tells you that he should play more,” he said.

“Mason was excellent. I’m surprised he started just four Premier League games, but he did really well in most of them.
“He played Tottenham at home, Everton and City away, these are tough games and he was thrown deep.
“I can’t wait to see him because he is a special talent. “
