“It’s like you don’t want to spoil anything, but I’m optimistic,” said Fisher. “I would love to keep telling the story and come back and see where these characters are. It was a really fun show to work and write. I am optimistic but nothing is a guarantee. “
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan shares her hopes for season 2 of “Never Have I Ever”
In an interview with Stylecaster in April 2020, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan – who plays Devi Vishwakumar – raised the possibility of I have never Season 2. The actor explained that the decision was in Fischer’s hands. However, she hopes Netflix will renew the series.
“I hope there will be a season 2,” said Ramakrishnan. “I am not even upset by the cancellation of our premiere or by any type of conventional advertising press. I just want season 2 to get the story going. “
The 18-year-old then shared what she wanted to see if I have never Season 2 gets the green light.
“I want to see Devi start loving and enjoying himself because I think a lot of people are missing out on this in their lives, whether you are a child or an adult,” said Ramakrishnan. “People have to learn that you have to love yourself first. “
Ramakrishnan also explored his hopes for the future of Devi by speaking with Variety. And ultimately it comes down to kissing herself and her loved ones as well as dealing with her own grief. Ramakrishnan said:
Three main things – understand that she needs to be more thankful to family and friends because her friends do so much for her. His friends are really his friends. And also to understand where his mother comes from … [but] actually just run towards him and face him, face head on. “
And then number three, of course, embracing its culture because it’s so important in a world where identity is everything. This is how you describe yourself. This is how you show yourself to the world and how everyone will see you, but also how you accept yourself. And I think if Devi does these three magic, she could be a little more at peace with herself.
With Fisher and Vishwakumar on board, I have never Season 2 looks promising. But of course, fans will just have to wait and see.
