Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially retired from the hierarchy at the end of March and have since started a new life in the United States with their one-year-old son, baby Archie. The speed at which they left the royal fold, less than two years after their fairytale wedding, left many people surprised by the move. But a royal expert pointed out that there were indications from the start that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were making a different path to the norm.
She told Australian news site 9Honey, “The speed at which the Sussexes changed their lives surprised everyone.
“I don’t think it’s a huge surprise that they moved abroad, it was inevitable.
“I think the speed at which this happened surprised people”,
But she said there were indications that Meghan and Harry were going to act differently from other members of the royal family.
Nicholl said, “They had a program from the start – being members of the international royal family.
“They didn’t want to get stuck in one place.
“Part of their vision is to make a difference on the world stage and that means being international.

Less than five months after their marriage, the Sussexes have announced that they are expecting their first child, scheduled for spring 2019.
Baby Archie arrived on May 6, when the couple made a marked shift to a more private life.
Later that year, the family embarked on a tour of South Africa, when the cracks began to emerge as Meghan gave a tearful interview saying that she found it hard to cope with the demands of royal life and Harry launched a scathing attack on the media.
After the royal visit, the couple decided to spend Christmas away from royalty.
Just over a week after the start of the new year, the couple then announced their intention to resign as senior members of the royal family on their Instagram page, SussexRoyal.
Meghan and Harry briefly returned to the UK in February and early March to make their final royal engagements as members of the royal family.
The couple now live in California with their son and continue to remain in the public eye.
Last week, they released an adorable video of Meghan reading to baby Archie, to help raise funds for Save the Children and mark the young children’s first birthday.
